Just returned after a quick break in Perthshire, we stayed in a stunning glen, surrounded by Red deer and heather. We have come home to a busy time. The rain today meant time in the poly-tunnel, but I never really seem to catch up with everything I want to do; there is still a pile of seeds that need sowing, which just look at me every time I step inside! Our tomatoes are finally turning red and taste just so sweet, I was shocked!  The heather is looking absolutely beautiful up here at the moment, I don’t know if it is better than usual but it seems that it just might be. We have also returned to a new set of chicks, seven just hatched, the third lot this year- the old boy still has it in him!
